There is nothing better than the feeling of slipping into a pair of soft pajamas, except perhaps putting them on knowing that you are supporting small businesses who invest in saving the world one garment at a time! At Butter Bug Boutique in Tampa, you’ll find an extensive collection of bamboo apparel and other skin-safe and sustainable pieces for babies and kids (sorry, grown-ups.) Read a little more about them below!

About Butter Bug Boutique

Owner Courtney Vermette started Butter Bug Boutique during Covid-19 to share chemical-free products and bamboo clothing from women-owned companies with other moms. Her daughter, Lucy, was born with extremely sensitive skin, eczema, and sensory issues. Courtney constantly researched which fabrics and products wouldn’t irritate Lucy’s skin.

Now, she takes the hard work out of the picture so all parents can easily shop for safe baby and kid products, like buttery soft bamboo clothing, BPA-free toys and teethers, and other organic products free from dyes and harmful chemicals. The charming name for this Tampa baby store comes from Lucy’s obsession with bugs, namely butterflies, and the buttery soft sleepwear and apparel sold at the store!

Basically, when you shop at Butter Bug Boutique, you support our planet and the humans and animals who inhabit it. There’s no better way to shop than with a good conscience!

While you can totally browse their expansive selection on their website, nothing beats shopping at the boutique in person, where you can take the time to feel all of their buttery fabrics for yourself. They have an incredible variety of apparel for kids and babies, from onesies and rompers to dresses and sweaters. Whether you are looking for something trendy and neutral or playfully patterned, Butter Bug Boutique very likely has exactly what you are looking for (and so many things you didn’t even know you needed!)
